National Weather Service Watch Warning Advisory Summary: "SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WERE DEVELOPING ALONG THE EASTERN SIERRA FROM BRIDGEPORT TO MONO LAKE TO MAMMOTH LAKES.THESE STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH...BRIEF HEAVY RAIN AND DEADLY LIGHTNING AS THEY MOVE TO THE NORTH AT 10 TO 15 MPH. PERSONS ON AREA LAKES AND MOTORISTS ON HIGHWAYS 395...HIGHWAY 6 THROUGH THE CHALFANT VALLEY AND STATE ROUTES 120 AND 359 SOUTHWEST OF HAWTHORNE SHOULD MONITOR NEARBY THUNDERSTORMS AND TAKE COVER...ESPECIALLY IF THUNDER IS HEARD."
