Saddlebag Lake Trail

WOWWWWW...What a day. Today I wanted to get up to a snowfield in a glacial bowl. I walked to the snowfield of North Peak today, where things are happening up there. Huge snowfields and glaciers are melting still and the water is running everywhere. Flowers are blooming and the mosquitoes are attacking.....nothing some long sleeves and deet cannot handle though. This is one of the best walks I've ever done. I took off by boat taxi to the upper end of Saddlebag Lake and began at the Inyo National Forest trail.
There are lots of lakes.....some have no name.

Lots of waterfalls

Flowers!!!!

Made it!
